I used to be an avid runner. In fact, I ran the New York marathon when I was 28 years old and living in Manhattan. Alas, years of running have worn out my right knee, such that I don't run anymore. I have re-kindled my interest in biking as my main form of exercise to replace running. It's less painful than running, and I hope to be doing it for a long time! Anyone that wants to join me on a bike ride, followed by a beverage or cup of coffee, is welcome.
Some of my other favorite things to do include following Bay Area sports teams, wine tasting, walking, camping (Eagle Scout), volunteering, reading, and listening to music.
